2014 OMTT Lake of the Ozarks

OMTT Lake of the Ozarks Event June 28, 2014

Rick Johnston and Joe Brantley take home the win on Lake of the Ozarks in the 3rd stop on the 2014 OMTT Trail. The team caught 21.51 lbs of bass earning then $2,400 in cash, $1,000 Ranger Cup, $50 Scott Berry Insurance Money, and Solar Bat incentive. The Team also captured the Big Bass with a 6.37lb kicker worth an additional $1,120, plus $50 in Academy Sports and Outdoors gift certificates. Total winnings were over $4,600 for the event. The team reported catching their fish on boat docks on big jigs after a 45 mile run from Drake Harbor

Brent Algeo and Jim Copeland took home 2nd Place with 20.52 worth $1,440. The team made a long run from Drake Harbor to the Gravois and reported catching thier fish on Chompers Jigs in 25-30 foot of water.

Bobby Albert and Steve Lee finished 3rd with 18.60 winning $1,260. The team reported catching thier fish on big jigs on laydowns in the river, pitching to the cover multiple times.
